About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented RTR Process Specialist with strong experience in inventory management or plant accounting. The ideal candidate will support end-to-end Record-to-Report activities, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process excellence and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage month-end and year-end closing activities within the RTR domain, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Handle inventory accounting, including reconciliation, valuation, and movement analysis.
  • Perform plant accounting activities such as cost center reviews, production cost tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Support journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate accounting policies.
  • Collaborate with FP&A, supply chain, and operations teams for smooth data flow and accounting accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and support automation initiatives within RTR.
  • Assist with audit requirements and statutory compliance.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of inventory and manufacturing accounting processes.
  • Proficiency in SAP / Oracle / ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of IFRS / Ind AS accounting standards.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Background:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG setup.
  • Prior exposure to Shared Services / Global Finance Operations environment is an added advantage.
