We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Factory Manager to oversee and manage the overall operations of our Poha factory. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in mill management, demonstrate leadership and ownership skills, and ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective factory operations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Production & Operations Management

  2. Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily factory operations to meet production targets.

  3. Ensure proper functioning of all machinery, equipment, and utilities.
  4. Monitor production efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce wastage.

  5. Ensure adherence to production schedules and maintain consistent product quality.

  6. Quality Control & Compliance

  7. Implement and monitor quality standards in processing and packing.

  8. Maintain hygiene, safety, and regulatory compliance as per food industry norms.

  9. Conduct regular inspections and audits of raw material, processes, and finished goods.

  10. Team Management

  11. Lead and supervise factory staff, assign duties, and monitor performance.

  12. Motivate and train team members to achieve departmental and factory goals.

  13. Manage shift scheduling, attendance, and basic HR responsibilities within the factory.

  14. Inventory & Material Handling

  15. Monitor raw material inward (paddy/poha) and finished goods dispatch.

  16. Coordinate with warehouse/godown staff for proper storage and stock management.

  17. Track material usage, reduce wastage, and control pilferage.

  18. Maintenance & Safety

  19. Ensure preventive maintenance of machines and timely repairs.

  20. Maintain a safe working environment and implement safety protocols.

  21. Handle emergency breakdowns with quick problem-solving.

  22. Reporting & Coordination

  23. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production and stock reports.

  24. Report directly to management with updates on productivity, issues, and improvements.
  25. Coordinate with procurement, sales, and accounts teams for smooth workflow.

Key Skills & Attributes Required:

  • Strong leadership and ownership skills – ability to take responsibility for operations.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of mill machinery operations (Poha/Rice/Dall).
  • Problem-solving and decision-making ability under pressure.
  • Discipline, honesty, and accountability.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22, ₹30,000.00 per month
