Role Summary
The ER Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, disciplinary matters, conflict resolution, and compliance with labour
laws and organizational policies.

What the role entails Key accountabilities/ responsibilities
- Act as an advisor to employees and managers on all employee relations matters.
- Handle employee grievances, concerns, and conflicts with fairness, empathy, confidentiality, and speed.
- Partner with HRBPs and leadership teams to strengthen employee engagement and foster a culture of trust, transparency, and inclusion.
- Conduct investigations into complaints, misconduct, or violations in compliance with company policies, labour laws, and ethical standards.
- Provide guidance on disciplinary actions, performance issues, and corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory regulations, and internal HR policies.
- Develop and implement employee relations programs, policies, and training initiatives to build managerial capability.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and insights on ER cases, trends, and risks for leadership review.
- Create, review, and update HR policies in line with benchmarks and best practices.
- Leverage data analytics and trend analysis to proactively mitigate ER risks and HR issues.
- Collaborate with HRBPs on pattern recognition and long-term resolution of recurring issues.
- Build and maintain strong networks with government officials and labour bodies to stay compliant and informed.
- Plan and execute initiatives to enhance employee welfare and well-being.
- Demonstrate understanding and execution experience across different employment formats: Full-Time, Part-Time, Gig, Aggregator models.
- Understand and leverage government schemes (e.g., PMKVY, NATS, NAPS) to strengthen workforce skilling.
- Partner with national skill-development and training vendors across geographies.
- Manage ER aspects in sensitive situations including: Code of Conduct (COC) violations, redundancy, restructuring, retirement, and exit processes.
- Be open to frequent travel across multiple locations as required by the business.

- Should have worked or have understanding of HRBP role.

Education
- MBA HR, Bachelors in HR
Experience
