Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Planning Engineer to join our PMC team and lead the planning and scheduling functions of large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in project planning, preferably within the PMC framework, and possess strong technical and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and contractors to align project timelines and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect actual performance.
- Perform delay analysis and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present project planning reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Support cost estimation and resource planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct site visits to validate progress and ensure schedule adherence.
Skills & Competencies
- Advanced project scheduling and planning expertise.
- Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Leadership and team coordination skills.
Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and delay analysis techniques.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in planning and scheduling for construction projects.
- Proven experience in PMC environments is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other planning tools.
