Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Planning Engineer to join our PMC team and lead the planning and scheduling functions of large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in project planning, preferably within the PMC framework, and possess strong technical and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and contractors to align project timelines and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect actual performance.
• Perform delay analysis and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present project planning reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Support cost estimation and resource planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct site visits to validate progress and ensure schedule adherence.

Skills & Competencies

• Advanced project scheduling and planning expertise.
• Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Leadership and team coordination skills.

Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and delay analysis techniques.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in planning and scheduling for construction projects.
• Proven experience in PMC environments is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other planning tools.
