Job Title: Retention Marketing Executive / Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven Retention Marketing professional to lead initiatives that maximize customer lifetime value, reduce churn, and strengthen brand loyalty. The ideal candidate will design and execute data-driven customer engagement strategies across email, SMS, app notifications, loyalty programs, and other digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:


• Develop and implement retention strategies to improve repeat purchase rates, customer engagement, and loyalty.


• Create and manage multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS, push notifications, WhatsApp, in-app) tailored to different customer segments.


• Collaborate with data/CRM teams to analyze customer behavior, cohorts, and lifecycle patterns.


• Set up and optimize customer journeys, drip campaigns, and reactivation programs.


• Manage loyalty and referral programs to strengthen long-term customer relationships.


• Conduct A/B testing to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversion metrics.


• Monitor campaign performance, generate insights, and recommend actionable improvements.


• Work closely with product, sales, and brand teams to align retention efforts with business goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).


• 2–5 years of experience in retention marketing, CRM, or lifecycle marketing.


• Hands-on experience with marketing automation/CRM platforms (e.g., Clevertap, MoEngage, WebEngage, HubSpot, Braze, Klaviyo).


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategy.


• Understanding of customer segmentation, personalization, and campaign optimization.


• Excellent communication and project management skills.


• Knowledge of e-commerce, D2C, or digital-first brands is a plus.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):


• Customer retention rate


• Repeat purchase frequency


• Average order value (AOV) and customer lifetime value (CLV)


• Churn reduction


• Engagement metrics (CTR, open rates, conversions)
