Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) located in Mumbai. The CFO will oversee the financial operations of the company, including financial planning, ensuring accurate financial statements and reporting. Key responsibilities include developing and managing financial strategies, conducting financial analysis, preparing detailed financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The CFO will work closely with executive management to drive the company's financial success and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

Capital Structuring – Design optimal debt-equity mix, evaluate REITs, private equity, and JV funding structures.

Financial Planning & Analysis – Lead multi-year budgeting, scenario modeling, and stress testing of project cash flows.

Regulatory Compliance – Ensure statutory adherence under RERA, GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, FEMA, and stamp duty laws.

Investor Relations – Engage with institutional investors, funds, and banking partners for ongoing and new funding requirements.

Risk Management – Implement enterprise risk management framework including credit, liquidity, and market risk.

Audit & Controls – Strengthen internal controls, lead statutory and internal audits, and ensure timely MIS reporting to the CEO and Board.

Cost Optimization – Drive value engineering and financial efficiency in procurement and project execution.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CFA, or equivalent finance qualification.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in finance leadership, with at least 7 years in real estate.
  • Proven experience in raising ₹500+ Cr through structured financing or equity
