
Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities within the education sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers (principals, deans, administrators, procurement heads).
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
- Present and demonstrate products/services to potential clients (schools, colleges, training centers).
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, product) to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
- Prepare business proposals, bids, and partnership agreements.
- Track, analyze, and report on sales performance and pipeline status.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field).
- 3–7 years of proven experience in business development/sales within the education sector (K-12, Higher Education, EdTech, or Training Services).
- Strong network of contacts in the education domain.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand and articulate solutions tailored to educational institutions.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
