1. Job Summary

The Civil Site Supervisor is responsible for managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring work quality, supervising labour, coordinating materials, and maintaining safety and project timelines.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Site Execution & Monitoring

  • Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities on site.
  • Ensure work is executed as per drawings, standards, and specifications.
  • Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Check quality of workmanship such as shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, plaster, masonry, flooring, etc.

B. Labour & Contractor Coordination

  • Manage and allocate work to labour teams and subcontractors.
  • Maintain daily labour attendance and productivity.
  • Resolve site issues and coordinate manpower requirements.

C. Material Management

  • Monitor material consumption and prevent wastage.
  • Coordinate timely delivery and storage of construction materials.
  • Maintain material stock registers and usage reports.

D. Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all safety norms are followed on-site (PPE, barricading, housekeeping).
  • Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe practices immediately.
  • Ensure compliance with company and statutory guidelines.

E. Quality Control

  • Inspect all civil works regularly and highlight defects.
  • Ensure proper curing, finishing, and measurements.
  • Raise quality issues with the engineer and ensure corrections.

F. Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare daily site report (DSR) with progress, labour, materials, and issues.
  • Maintain checklists for each activity (masonry, plaster, RCC, finishing).
  • Assist in bill verification of contractors and vendors.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
