Description
As a Team Member in AP OPS, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions. Your role will involve working closely with various teams and stakeholders to maintain efficient operations. Responsibilities
  • Process and review accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Maintain and update vendor master data, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Prepare and submit GST returns (GSTR2) and TDS schedules, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as procurement and finance, to ensure smooth operations and timely payments.
  • Handle vendor inquiries and provide timely responses, maintaining strong relationships.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing necessary reports and analyses.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure data integrity.
  • Stay updated with accounting standards and regulations, particularly GST and TDS regulations.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the AP OPS team lead.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role, preferably in a banking or financial institution.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GST and TDS regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing regulations and processes.
