Job Summary:

The Budgeting Executive / Analyst is responsible for preparing, monitoring, and controlling budgets across projects and departments. The role includes coordinating with internal teams for financial data verification and analysis, preparing periodic budget variance reports, supporting management in audits and financial reviews, and ensuring adherence to approved budgets and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare annual, departmental, and project-specific budgets.

· Monitor actual expenses against approved budgets and track variances.

· Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

· Coordinate with departments to verify financial data and perform analysis.

· Prepare periodic budget utilization and variance reports for management review.

· Support management during audits, financial reviews, and decision-making processes.

· Ensure compliance with internal budgeting processes and company policies.

· Assist in financial forecasting, planning, and cost-control initiatives.

· Provide insights for management through analysis and reporting.

· Prepare presentations and reports for meetings and review sessions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Finance.
  • Preference for candidates with MBA (Finance) or relevant certifications.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in budgeting, accounting, or financial planning.
  • Experience in corporate finance or project budgeting preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

· Strong knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools.

· Knowledge of budgeting, variance analysis, and financial planning.

· Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.

· Good communication and coordination skills.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

Salary:

Proposed salary range depends on experience and skill set.
