JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Test Lead to oversee testing activities for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements. The Test Lead will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing test activities, ensuring the quality and reliability of ServiceNow solutions. This role requires expertise in ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF), test case design and execution, and end-to-end test management. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on testing skills along with leadership experience to guide the testing process and coordinate with stakeholders across delivery teams

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage all testing activities for ServiceNow projects, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • Create, review, and execute detailed test cases and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements.
  • Manage defect tracking and resolution process, ensuring timely closure of issues.
  • Provide status reporting on test planning, execution, and quality metrics to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and process owners to validate requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with testing best practices, quality standards, and organizational processes.
  • Mentor and guide team members on test design, ATF usage, and execution practices.
  • Support release readiness by validating ServiceNow updates, patches, and upgrades.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in software testing, with at least 2+ years in a ServiceNow testing role.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF), test case creation, and test execution.
  • Experience in leading test teams and coordinating testing activities across multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HRSD, CSM, ITOM, or ITBM is a plus.
  • Proficiency with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow).
  • Good understanding of testing methodologies, QA best practices, and SDLC/Agile frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • ServiceNow certification (e.g., CSA, CIS in any module) is desirable but not required.
