Job Description: IT Manager

Reports To: CIO

Key Responsibilities

  1. IT Infrastructure Management

  2. Manage the site IT infrastructure which includes Wi-Fi & Wired Network, WAN, ISP links, Passive components and Firewall.

  3. Manage and optimize Network performance, reliability, and scalability
  4. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
  5. Ensure business continuity for all infrastructure components at the site

  6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors for capacity planning and ensure infrastructure scalability to meet future growth needs

  7. IT Security & Compliance

  8. Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard the organization's IT systems, data, and intellectual property.

  9. Implement firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security technologies to protect sensitive data and assets.

  10. Respond to and manage security incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken and documented.

  11. Vendor Management

  12. Manage relationships with third-party vendors, service providers, and contractors to ensure that SLAs and performance expectations are met.

  13. Ensure the continuous evaluation of vendors and service providers for the site

  14. Documentation & Reporting

  15. Ensure that all infrastructure and security processes are well-documented, standardized, and followed consistently.

  16. Develop and maintain system architecture diagrams, network layouts, and security infrastructure documentation for the site

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (required).
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CCSP, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications are highly desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management
  • Extensive experience with networking (Wi-Fi / LAN/ WAN)
  • Experience in configuring Cisco Meraki Wi-Fi / switches, Palo Alto firewall
