Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Marketing Executive to support our seed marketing operations. The role involves field-level execution of marketing plans, dealer support, and farmer engagement to enhance brand visibility and product adoption. Ideal for professionals with 2 to 4 years of experience in Agri-input sales/marketing, this role offers a strong platform for career growth within the Agri business sector.
Educational Qualification:
- B.Sc. (Agriculture)
- MBA in Marketing / Agribusiness
Experience:
- 24 years of experience in agri-input marketing, preferably seeds, crop protection.
- Field experience with dealers, distributors, and farmers is desirable
Age Limit:
- Preferably 25 to 40 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing regional marketing activities and seasonal crop plans
- Coordinate with dealers and distributors for product availability and promotional support
- Conduct product demonstrations, mini-plots, and crop visits to highlight performance
- Organize and support farmer meetings, training programs, and village campaigns
- Collect feedback from farmers and dealers on product performance and demand trends
- Ensure branding visibility through field signage, promotional materials, and local events
- Report on competitor activity, pricing trends, and market dynamics in the assigned territory
- Provide basic after-sales support and technical guidance to farmers when required
- Collaborate with the sales team for stock movement tracking and demand planning
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Practical knowledge of agriculture practices, crop seasons, and input use
- Ability to connect with dealers, farmers, and field staff effectively
- Good communication in local language(s) and basic English for reporting
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Self-motivated with a strong willingness to travel in rural/agricultural regions
- Team player with a learning attitude and field orientation
