Introduction –
This role offers a compelling opportunity for professionals passionate about education and sales. The position allows you to work with a diverse portfolio of print and blended learning products (Print + LMS), engage with educators, and contribute to the growth of digital education. It's a chance to be part of a collaborative team culture, work on impactful projects, and strengthen OUP's brand presence in a key region.
Opportunity –
In this role, you will:
- Lead a sales target of over INR 11 million across approximately 150 prospect schools in Rohtak, Hissar, Bhawani, Sirsa, and Fatehabad.
- Retain and grow OUP's market share in the region.
- Promote educational resources including print and blended learning solutions.
- Facilitate after-sales support and workshops, driving usage of platforms like Oxford Educate.
- Present and pitch products effectively to school stakeholders including teachers, coordinators, principals, and management.
- Manage the distribution network and ensure timely collections.
- Sell library and reading resources to school libraries.
- Drive growth in digital product adoption through demos and customer engagement.
- Maintain sales and competition data in Salesforce (itrack).
- Plan and execute customer acquisition events and training sessions.
- Develop and implement ideas to enhance OUP's brand image locally.
Your efforts will directly influence OUP's success in the region and contribute to its broader educational mission.
About You
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel across the assigned territory.
- Solid market knowledge of the region.
- Solution-centric sales approach with exposure to digital tools.
- Understanding of the school education business is a plus.
- Candidates from other industries may be considered if they demonstrate relevant skills.
