ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are hiring a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive for our Pune (Deccan) office.
Although titled as a BDE, this position functions primarily as an Admission/Academic Counsellor, where you will guide prospective students, understand their academic and career goals, recommend suitable programs, and ensure successful admissions through company-provided leads.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Counsel students regarding online and distance learning programs offered through partner universities.
- Understand student requirements and recommend the most suitable graduate and postgraduate programs.
- Manage both inbound and outbound calls to convert enquiries into admissions.
- Provide accurate program details, fee structures, career pathways, and admission procedures.
- Conduct follow-ups through calls, WhatsApp, email, and scheduled callbacks to maximise conversions.
- Handle pre-admission and post-admission support to ensure smooth onboarding.
- Maintain and update lead records, enquiry status, and conversion reports in the CRM.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students for future referrals.
- Work consistently towards achieving monthly admission targets.
- Participate in ongoing training, team discussions, and counselling strategy improvements.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Good counselling and interpersonal abilities.
- Enthusiastic, confident, and goal-oriented.
- Ability to explain program details clearly and handle objections effectively.
- Basic computer knowledge and CRM familiarity (preferred).
- Passionate about academic guidance and student support.
QUALIFICATION
- Any Bachelor's Degree
EXPERIENCE
- Fresher to 3 years
- Experience in EdTech, admissions counselling, or online distance learning preferred.
