Job Summary

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, driving sales performance, managing staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Store Operations

  • Manage day-to-day store functioning, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Ensure store cleanliness, product display standards, and visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Oversee cash handling, billing, returns, and exchange processes.
  • Conduct daily store opening and closing procedures.

B. Sales & Customer Service

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Monitor customer feedback and ensure excellent customer experience.
  • Plan and execute in-store promotions to boost sales.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.

C. Staff Management

  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise store staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching/feedback.
  • Ensure staff adherence to company policies, grooming standards, and service protocols.
  • Motivate the team to achieve individual and store-level KPIs.

D. Inventory & Stock Control

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics for timely replenishment.
  • Oversee stock audits, shrinkage control, and inventory reporting.
  • Ensure proper storage, tagging, and product handling.

E. Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales and operational reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and company audit standards.
  • Manage store expenses within budget.

4. Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field (preferred)
  • 2–5 years of experience in retail, including at least 1 year in a supervisory/managerial role
  • Experience in [industry-specific—fashion/electronics/grocery/etc.] is a plus

5. Working Conditions

  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for long durations and supervise on-floor activities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
