About the Role:The Business Development and Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the organisations growth objectives by driving marketing initiatives, coordinating client engagement activities, and assisting in the development of new business opportunities.

This role combines elements of business development, lead generation, and marketing execution. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and has strong communication and analytical skills. Experience in SEO, PPC, and social media marketing is a strong added advantage.

Key Responsibilities: Business Development:

Identify and research potential clients, partnerships, and new business opportunities.

Coordinate client meetings, follow-ups, and proposal submissions to ensure timely communication and professional representation.

Track and report on business development activities and market trends to support strategic decision-making.

Assist in outreach campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and other channels.

Help prepare business proposals, presentations, and pitch decks.

Maintain and update the sales pipeline and lead tracking using CRM tools.

Coordinate meetings, calls, and follow-ups with prospects and partners.

Marketing Coordination:

Develop and implement marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels to promote company services and brand.

Manage social media content, website updates, newsletters, and other communication platforms.

Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies for graphic design, digital marketing, and promotional materials.

Plan and coordinate events, and client engagement activities.

Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Brand and Communication:

Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and visual identity across all platforms and materials.

Assist in developing case studies, testimonials, and marketing collateral showcasing project successes and company capabilities.

Support internal communication initiatives and contribute to the creation of thought leadership content (blogs, articles, etc.).

Digital Marketing (Added Advantage):

Experience with SEO, PPC (Google Ads, Meta Ads), and social media marketing is a bonus.

Ability to assist with keyword research, ad copywriting, and social media scheduling.

Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, or LinkedIn Campaign Manager is preferred.

Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

24 years of experience in marketing, business development, or a related role.

Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital platforms, and CRM systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail.

Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Canva/Adobe Creative Suite, and social media management platforms.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Desirable Attributes:

Experience within professional services, construction, property, or facilities industries.

Understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and digital advertising tools.

Knowledge of tender and bid preparation processes.

Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and brand engagement.
