Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef located in the Greater Delhi Area. The Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring food quality and consistency, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining inventory and supplies. They will also collaborate with the head chef to create new menus, train staff, and enforce safety and sanitation standards. The Sous Chef will actively participate in food preparation and ensure guest satisfaction through excellent culinary service.
Qualifications
- Experience in kitchen management, inventory control, and staff supervision
- Strong culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to create and implement new recipes and menus
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role within a high-end or luxury establishment is a plus
