Every year, we host multiple festivals across several countries and cities, showcasing innovation, creativity, and collaboration across industries.
Role Overview
This role is available at two industry-standard levels—Manager (mid-level individual contributor) and Vice President (senior leadership). Candidates should select the level that best matches their experience and leadership scope. The position focuses on driving sponsorship revenue, building long-term partnerships, and securing funding for established and emerging IPs. It requires a consultative sales approach, strong experience in sponsorship acquisition, and the ability to translate event concepts into compelling brand partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure new sponsorship alliances and expand untapped opportunities for festivals and IPs.
- Develop market strategies for sponsorship acquisition and brand positioning.
- Pitch, present, and negotiate sponsorship packages with corporates, agencies, and brands.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat and incremental business.
- Work closely with festival and production teams to align sponsorship pitches with event concepts.
- Contribute to sponsorship strategy, product positioning, and creation of high-value sponsorship packages.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and sponsorship innovations.
- Deliver on individual and team revenue targets.
- Mentor and guide team members (for senior levels).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years (VP role) / 4 - 7 years (Manager role) of proven experience in sponsorship sales, business development, or partnerships.
- Demonstrated success in raising funds for large-scale IPs, events, or festivals.
- Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Results-driven with the ability to meet revenue targets.
- Knowledge of sponsorship and brand activation best practices.
