Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Manager – Events (Exhibition & Sponsorship Sales) to join our dynamic team. The role is focused on driving revenue growth by securing exhibition space and sponsorships across our portfolio of events. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in exhibition and sponsorship sales, with strong skills in cold calling, lead generation, client relationship management, and closing high-value deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities for events by understanding client marketing objectives and aligning them with available sponsorship packages.
  • Develop customized sponsorship proposals and negotiate terms to maximize revenue.
  • Proactively identify, target, and acquire new exhibitors for upcoming events through sales channels including cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and lead generation.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure of exhibition space sales.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential exhibitors and sponsors.
  • Deliver compelling client presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Conduct market research, industry analysis, and networking to generate new business leads.
  • Follow up on inbound inquiries and convert them into qualified leads.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for exhibitors and sponsors, addressing their needs and ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance updates to management.
  • Attend industry events and competitor exhibitions to gather market intelligence.
Qualifications

cations

  • Master's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5 years of proven experience in exhibition sales, sponsorship sales, or B2B sales, preferably within the events, media, or publishing industry.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the exhibition and event industry landscape.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.

  • Proven expertise in Lead Generation strategies and execution.
  • Strong negotiation and deal closure skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
