Key responsibilities:

  • Understand clients' financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences through detailed consultations.
  • Develop personalized financial planning strategies to help clients achieve short-term and long-term financial objectives.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Educate clients on Merits Capital's financial products, investment options, and planning tools suited to their needs.
  • Leverage the client base to generate new opportunities and expand business relationships.
  • Manage client portfolios by making informed investment decisions aligned with their financial plans.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential threats.
  • Provide ongoing financial guidance and adjust plans as clients' life circumstances or market conditions change.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in wealth management or a related field.
  • MBA graduates are preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or appropriate regulatory licenses (e.g., SEC) are a plus.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business success.
  • Strong existing client base with established relationships in relevant industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
