Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced and skilled Purchase Manager to lead our textile and readymade purchasing team. You'll be responsible for developing and executing purchasing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing Strategy: Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet business objectives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers of textiles and readymade garments, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers, ensuring favourable terms for the company.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that products meet quality standards, inspecting goods before shipment and resolving any quality issues.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, minimizing waste and ensuring adequate stock to meet customer demand.
  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with logistics team to ensure timely delivery of products, resolving any logistics issues.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, identifying new suppliers, products, and technologies that can benefit the company.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports on purchasing activities, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Fashion, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the textile or fashion industry which including Mens, Ladies, Kids Readymade items.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of textile and readymade garment products and market trends.
  • Experience with purchasing software and systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
