Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned and proficient individual to join our team as a PPC Manager, specializing in Die Casting and VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Machining processes.

The successful candidate will lead the production planning and control efforts, ensuring optimal utilization of resources, efficient scheduling, and on-time delivery in the dynamic environment of Die Casting and VMC machining.

Requirements

Die Casting and VMC Production Planning:


• Develop and execute comprehensive production plans for Die Casting and VMC machining processes.


• Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to align planning with technical requirements.


• Balance production capacity with demand to optimize resource utilization.

Scheduling and Coordination:


• Create and maintain production schedules for Die Casting and VMC machining based on customer orders and inventory levels.


• Coordinate with Die Casting and VMC machining departments, ensuring seamless workflow.


• Monitor and adjust schedules to address production challenges and meet delivery timelines.

Die Casting and VMC Machining Process Optimization:


• Analyze Die Casting and VMC machining processes to identify areas for improvement.


• Implement measures to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and improve overall production output.


• Collaborate with the engineering team for process improvements.

Inventory Management:


• Monitor and manage inventory levels for Die Casting and VMC machining materials and finished goods.


• Implement inventory control measures to minimize carrying costs while ensuring timely production.

Resource Allocation:


• Efficiently allocate resources, including manpower, die casting machines, VMC machines, and materials.
• Collaborate with department heads to address resource constraints and optimize production processes.

Performance Monitoring:


• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for Die Casting and VMC machining processes.


• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.


• Regularly report on production progress and suggest optimization strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:


• Work closely with quality control to maintain product standards and compliance.


• Collaborate with procurement for timely sourcing of raw materials for Die Casting and VMC machining.


• Align production plans with sales forecasts and market trends.

Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing:


• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in Die Casting and VMC machining processes.


• Promote and apply lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.


• Lead or support projects aimed at enhancing overall production efficiency.

Risk Management:


• Proactively identify and address potential risks in Die Casting and VMC machining processes.


• Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure uninterrupted production.
