Position Overview

The Registration Executive is responsible for handling all activities related to the registration of new vehicles, ensuring timely processing with the Regional Transport Office (RTO), maintaining accurate records, and providing support to the sales team and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • RTO Coordination & Documentation
  • Collect and verify customer documents required for vehicle registration.
  • Prepare and submit registration applications to the RTO.
  • Coordinate with RTO officials to ensure timely approval and issuance of registration numbers.
  • Maintain proper records of registration certificates (RC), insurance, road tax, and related documents.
  • Customer Service
  • Guide customers on the registration process and required documents.
  • Address customer queries regarding registration, number plates, or hypothecation.
  • Ensure delivery of RC and number plates to customers within the committed timeline.
  • Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure all registration processes comply with RTO rules and company policies.
  • Keep track of registration status and update the sales team regularly.
  • Maintain MIS reports and logs of registration activities.
  • Internal Coordination
  • Liaise with the sales and accounts departments for timely payment of registration charges and taxes.
  • Coordinate with the delivery team to ensure vehicles are registered before handover.
  • Handle hypothecation endorsements with banks/finance companies when required.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Good knowledge of RTO rules, regulations, and registration procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and external agencies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and documentation software.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate / Diploma (any stream).
  • 1–3 years of experience in RTO / vehicle registration at an automobile dealership.
  • Freshers with strong learning ability may also be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
