Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sponsorship Sales Manager, located in Mumbai. The Sponsorship Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new business, managing and growing accounts, developing sponsorship sales strategies, and identifying and pursuing lead generation opportunities. The role involves building relationships with key stakeholders, negotiating deals, and meeting sales targets to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sponsorship Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sponsorship sales strategy to meet revenue targets. Identify new sponsorship opportunities and create customized packages to attract potential sponsors. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sponsorship strategies.

  2. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Research and identify potential sponsors that align with the company's events and programs. Generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and digital marketing. Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective sponsors.

  3. Sales and Relationship Management: Engage with potential sponsors to understand their needs and present tailored sponsorship packages. Conduct negotiations and close sponsorship deals to achieve sales targets. Build and maintain long-term relationships with sponsors, ensuring their satisfaction and ongoing support.

  4. Proposal Development and Presentation: Develop compelling sponsorship proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value of partnering with the company. Customize proposals to meet the specific needs and objectives of each sponsor. Deliver engaging presentations to prospective sponsors.

  5. Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage sponsorship contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly defined and agreed upon. Coordinate with legal and finance teams to ensure contracts are compliant with company policies

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Sponsorship Sales and Sales strategies
  • Experience in New Business Development and Lead Generation
  • Skilled in Account Management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of the tech industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
