Position: Project EngineerKey Requirements

  • Educational Qualification
    :
  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
  • Experience
    :
  • Hands-on experience in PLC programming, SCADA/HMI configuration, and industrial automation commissioning.

Technical ExpertiseIf experienced in Rockwell Automation:

  • Strong knowledge of
    CompactLogix
    and
    ControlLogix
    PLC systems (Studio 5000/RSLogix 5000 programming).
  • Experience with
    FactoryTalk View SE
    (SCADA) and
    FactoryTalk Optix
    (HMI/SCADA).
  • Configuration and troubleshooting of
    PowerFlex Drives
    (parameterization, startup, and diagnostics).

If experienced in Siemens Automation:

  • Proficiency in
    S7-1200
    and
    S7-1500
    PLC systems (TIA Portal programming).
  • Development and configuration of
    WinCC SCADA
    (both Professional and Advanced).
  • Knowledge of
    Siemens Simocode
    motor management systems.
  • Configuration and commissioning of Siemens AC drives.

General Skills

  • Hands-on experience in
    HMI/SCADA development
    and integration with PLCs.
  • Strong knowledge of
    site commissioning activities
    , including I/O wiring checks, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), and SAT (Site Acceptance Test).
  • Ability to perform
    system troubleshooting
    and resolve field issues during project execution.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, Profibus).
  • Basic understanding of instrumentation and field devices.

Additional Competencies

  • Problem-solving mindset with good analytical and debugging skills.
  • Ability to prepare technical documentation and test reports.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients and on-site teams.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites for commissioning and support.
