Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Spoken English cum Digital Trainer to deliver engaging, impactful training in English and Digital Empowerment at our Lighthouse center in Odisha. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, a student-first approach, and the ability to build rapport with youth from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality classroom sessions in Spoken English and Digital Empowerment to enhance students' job readiness.
  • Conduct regular student assessments and track learning outcomes.
  • Provide one-on-one mentorship and feedback to support individual student growth.
  • Share timely updates and training progress reports with the Master Trainer.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve teaching methodologies and materials.
  • Maintain accurate training records and reports.
  • Support other team members and Lighthouse activities as needed.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline, with 1–2 years of experience in teaching or training, preferably in English.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and classroom management skills.
  • Comfortable managing a batch of 25–30 students.
  • Energetic, empathetic, and able to connect well with youth from diverse communities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to youth development and social transformation.
  • Basic digital literacy and ability to teach digital skills.
