Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef based in Pune. The Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality and flavorful meals consistent with the kitchen's standards. Daily tasks include planning menus, sourcing fresh ingredients, and maintaining kitchen inventory. The role also involves overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen staff, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations, and collaborating with team members to create an excellent dining experience.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in culinary techniques, food preparation, and presentation
  • Menu planning and creativity in creating diverse and appealing dishes
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and kitchen cleanliness standards
  • Skills in managing kitchen inventory, sourcing ingredients, and controlling food costs
  • Proficient in team management, task delegation, and training kitchen staff
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Prior experience as a professional chef or a relevant role in the food industry
  • Culinary arts degree or equivalent professional training is preferred
  • Passion for cooking and a commitment to providing high-quality meals
