Solution Architect, Finance for Manufacturing

Purpose of the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect, Finance for Manufacturing to join our team. In this role, you will be a key link between business requirements and technical solutions, focusing on our core production-related finance processes. You will own the end-to-end solution architecture for our current ERP environment, ensuring our finance systems are harmonized, efficient, and aligned with our strategic business goals.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Solution Ownership: Act as the primary owner for the solution architecture of production-related finance processes, specifically for our ERP Infor LN system.
• Business-to-Technical Translation: Translate business requirements from decision-makers and process owners into clear, architectural-level solutions for our implementation experts and partners.
• Solution Design & Development: Define and develop the conceptual finance solution for both new and existing Infor LN instances, always aiming for harmonization across our different systems.
• Delivery & Quality Assurance: Ensure that all solution development adheres to the agreed-upon roadmap, architectural guidelines, and business priorities. You will be responsible for the quality and on-time delivery of all deliverables.
• System Integration: Leverage your knowledge of ERP capabilities to coordinate solution integration with a variety of finance applications, including SAP, Basware, Adaptive, Hyperion, and Qlik.
• Interface Ownership: Own the LN finance - SAP finance setup and interface. You will work as the Solution Owner for this interface, collaborating with the SAP finance team, Hiab Business Center, and local factory teams.
• Technical Support: Provide expert support to the Hiab finance team and local finance factory teams for any issues, questions, or tasks related to Infor LN finance, working together with solution providers for development and issue resolution.
• Support & Efficiency: Implement and manage a streamlined support process to effectively address finance-related queries and issues from factory teams, ensuring timely resolutions and improved operational efficiency.
• Reporting Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert for reporting teams, providing support on business reporting activities for Hiab group and local factory finance teams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with a diverse group of stakeholders, including our Solution Development, Enterprise Architecture, Process Owners, and Finance teams.

What youll need to succeed

Education/Wyksztacenie:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field

Experience/Dowiadczenie:
Proven experience as a Solution Architect, with a strong background in finance and manufacturing processes

Competence and Skills/Kompetencje i umiejtnoci:

• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical architecture solutions.
• Experience providing hands-on, expert-level support and guidance to relevant stakeholders.
• Deep expertise in ERP systems, particularly Infor LN.
• Experience with SAP or a strong desire and aptitude to learn the SAP ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of financial applications and their integration points (e.g., Basware, Adaptive, Hyperion, Qlik).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with and influencing a wide range of stakeholders, including business leaders, technical teams, and external partners.
• A strategic mindset with a focus on delivering harmonized, scalable, and robust solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues and propose viable solutions.

Language skills/Umiejtnoci jzykowe:
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is considered an advantage.
