Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook traditional tandoori dishes (naan, kebabs, tikkas, breads, etc.) using the tandoor oven.
  • Maintain proper temperature, handling, and operation of the tandoor to ensure consistent cooking.
  • Ensure all dishes meet quality, presentation, and portion standards set by the restaurant.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the tandoor station, utensils, and surrounding work area.
  • Manage inventory of spices, marinades, and ingredients specific to tandoori cooking.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate timings and ensure smooth food service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Tandoori Chef or in a similar role in Indian cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of marinades, spice blends, and tandoori cooking techniques.
  • Ability to handle high heat and long hours near the tandoor safely.
  • Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to work with other chefs and staff.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak hours as per restaurant needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
