Role Description

This is an internship role for a Security Operations Center (SOC) Intern.

Ravtar is hiring Security Operations Center (SOC) Interns to join our operations team focused on GPS-based real-time tracking and monitoring of assets such as trucks, trailers, and high-value cargo. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment where you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, visibility, and compliance of logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor GPS-based tracking systems for trucks, trailers, and other stationary or mobile assets


• Respond to real-time alerts and alarms (e.g., route deviations, stoppages, geofence breaches, thefts, etc.)


• Follow predefined protocols and client-specific SOPs to address incidents


• Document all events and actions taken accurately in the system


• Coordinate with drivers, field teams, and clients as needed


• Escalate issues promptly to senior SOC staff

This on-site role is located in Jalandhar.

Qualifications

  • Experience or knowledge in Security Operations Center (SOC) tasks
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Knowledge of supply chain & logistics industry
  • Incident Response capabilities
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Graduates, Diploma holders, or Bachelor's Degree students from reputable universities
  • Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience are welcome
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Comfortable working in rotational day/night shifts
