About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Application Engineer for Sales with a strong technical foundation and proven sales experience in the Process Industry and Water market industry. This field-based role is pivotal in driving sales growth, building client relationships, and managing the full sales cycle — from lead generation to payment collection. You will be responsible for promoting flow solutions and dosing systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively visit clients to generate and qualify leads.
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales to prepare timely and accurate quotations.
  • Negotiate terms and close orders.
  • Ensure timely payment collection as per terms.
  • Update clients on deliveries and post-sales support.
  • Own the entire sales cycle from enquiry to closure and follow-up.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat and referral business.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.

Technical Expertise

Candidates must have working experience or understanding of:

  • Pressure Transmitters
  • Temperature Transmitters
  • Flow Meters / Flow Transmitters
  • Level Switches and Level Transmitters
  • Moisture Measuring Systems
  • Flow Measurements and Instrument Calibration

Education: Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical, Mechanical or related fields

Experience: 3–7 years in technical/industrial sales
