About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Application Engineer for Sales with a strong technical foundation and proven sales experience in the Process Industry and Water market industry. This field-based role is pivotal in driving sales growth, building client relationships, and managing the full sales cycle — from lead generation to payment collection. You will be responsible for promoting flow solutions and dosing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively visit clients to generate and qualify leads.
- Collaborate with Inside Sales to prepare timely and accurate quotations.
- Negotiate terms and close orders.
- Ensure timely payment collection as per terms.
- Update clients on deliveries and post-sales support.
- Own the entire sales cycle from enquiry to closure and follow-up.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat and referral business.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
Technical Expertise
Candidates must have working experience or understanding of:
- Pressure Transmitters
- Temperature Transmitters
- Flow Meters / Flow Transmitters
- Level Switches and Level Transmitters
- Moisture Measuring Systems
- Flow Measurements and Instrument Calibration
Education: Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical, Mechanical or related fields
Experience: 3–7 years in technical/industrial sales
