Job Summary
The Front Office Associate is responsible for providing exceptional guest service at the reception desk. This role ensures smooth check-in/check-out, handles guest queries and complaints, manages reservations, and coordinates with other departments to ensure a pleasant stay for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude.
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and room allocations.
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries.
- Maintain updated records of guests, room availability, and billing information.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Handle guest complaints with courtesy, and escalate to supervisors if needed.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and maintain shift reports.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for smooth operations.
- Uphold hotel policies, safety, and security standards at all times.
Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
- Prior experience in front office or customer service is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of hotel reservation systems (PMS) is desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills.
- Pleasant personality, well-groomed, and professional demeanor.
Work Conditions
- Flexible to work in shifts (morning, evening, night).
- Standing for extended periods at the reception desk.
- Interaction with international and domestic guests.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹16, ₹18,000.00 per month
