Job Summary:

The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and overall functionality of buildings, infrastructure, and associated services. This role ensures that all facility operations run smoothly, comply with regulations, and provide a safe and efficient environment for occupants. The Facility Manager also manages maintenance teams, vendor contracts, and operational budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facility Operations & Maintenance:

Ensure the proper functioning of electrical, mechanical, plumbing (MEP), HVAC, and fire safety systems.

Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime.

Conduct regular facility inspections and audits to identify maintenance needs.

Oversee housekeeping, security, and waste management services.

  1. Compliance & Safety:

Ensure adherence to local building codes, health, and safety regulations.

Implement safety protocols and emergency preparedness plans.

Conduct risk assessments and fire safety drills.

Maintain all necessary permits, licenses, and regulatory documentation.

  1. Vendor & Contractor Management:

Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance, security, and facility upgrades.

Negotiate and manage contracts with service providers.

Evaluate vendor performance to ensure high service standards.

  1. Budget & Resource Management:

Prepare and manage facility maintenance budgets.

Optimize operational costs through efficient resource management.

Track expenditures and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

  1. Space Planning & Utilization

Optimize space allocation for office layouts, storage, and common areas.

Coordinate facility modifications, renovations, or expansions as required.

  1. Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

Generate reports on facility performance, expenses, and improvement recommendations.

Ensure accurate documentation for audits and compliance checks.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in facility management or related operations.

Experience managing technical teams and vendor contracts.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of building systems, MEP, HVAC, and safety regulations.

Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Understanding of sustainability and energy management practices.

Soft Skills:

Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Work Environment:

Office-based with frequent on-site visits.

May require after-hours or emergency response availability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17, ₹25,000.00 per month
