  • The Creative Services Supervisor serves as a bridge between the functional managers within the Global Brand Center of Excellence and the local team in Pune, enabling consistency in processes and procedures.   • Drives quality assurance standards within the group by coordinating peer reviews and assessing the output of the work to drive internal client satisfaction. Monitors response times to internal clients and compliance with established processes and procedures for approvals, brand governance, and file management.
  • Coordinates project ingestion and resource assignment within the group, working closely with portfolio marketing and business units to prioritize and establish expected completion dates.
  • Serves as the on-site manager for the creative functions within the Global Brand COE in Pune, responsible for personnel development, performance management, and retention strategies.
  • Provides administrative support for the assigned direct reports and contractors. Evaluates the performance of the direct reports and contractors and corrects behaviours that could be detrimental to the business in a timely and effective manner. Initiates corrective actions or performance coaching activities as required for each associate.
  • The position is a working supervisor, which also requires hands-on design of print collateral, infographics, presentations, and other related materials to introduce products, solutions, and services to the market. This role will provide visual solutions to marketing and communication needs, consistently applying Vertiv's brand language across various formats.
  • Provide digital files for offset printing, digital printing, and website placement. Create illustrations and diagrams to explain concepts difficult to convey by other means. Store source files and finished collateral in the designated repository for publishing and archiving, ensuring other marketers can leverage the efforts.
  • Track projects and tasks using the Vertiv marketing collaboration system (Wrike); provide timely updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Supports operational excellence activities in partnership with the Senior Creative Project Manager, such as quality assurance, standard operating procedure (SOP) development/deployment, and project management activities for the multimedia workstream within the time-to-market team.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must have a ME/BE or MTech/BTech degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, multimedia, video production, or a related discipline in a marketing environment; higher degrees and specializations are desirable.
  • Five or more years of work experience supervising teams in the areas of graphic design, 3D, multimedia production, or a similar creative services industry. Project management experience in a marketing context is a suitable alternative as well.
  • Three or more years of work experience managing personnel, including being responsible for hiring and training, professional development, and performance management.
  • Good understanding of quality control for visual communication with excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of editorial design/layout, using Adobe InDesign. Working knowledge of final artwork and printing requirements for a variety of outputs, such as digital printing and offset printing. Capable of using highly structured templates, styles, and master pages. Able to create and adjust templates that other designers can use, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Advanced knowledge of photo editing/montage, color correction, and other image-related actions. Experienced with Adobe Photoshop.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, capable of developing infographics, branding projects, illustrations, diagrams and concept work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of 3D imagery workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly, capable of presenting visual projects to the leadership team. Can conduct needs finding sessions to guide the organization regarding graphic design and visual communication needs.
  • Can organize multiple tasks and possess strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
  • Strong team effort mentality.
