IT System Engineer

Location - Bangalore (Bommanahalli)

NP - 20 days (max)

Work Mode - 5 days work from office

Weekly Off - Rotational

Mandatory Requirement

  • 3-6 years of experience within Enterprise technical support/contact center environment with helpdesk responsibility, Active Directory, VMware, Cisco / Fortinet network, AWS, azure and Office 365 experience required
  • Should be willing to work in rotational shifts (this role will have rotational week off)
  • VMWare, Windows , Linux server and AWS administration experience including user account maintenance, system patches and updates using Change Management controls and Vulnerability assessment.
  • Monitoring and managing Cisco network devices and Windows servers with knowledge of systems monitoring software such as, AWS, Libre, Cisco FirePower, Fortinet ,vSphere and Meraki MDM. CCNA/CCNP/MCSE certifications preferred
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP ,Vlan, NAT,VPN,ACL Networking and Troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of security standards and controls for ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR and Sarbanes Oxley requirements, and experience working in organizations compliant in these standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Monitoring, Support and Incident Management for corporate computing environment including but not limited to:
  • User Account Administration
  • System Logs (Windows Event logs, IDS/IPS/ Content Filter, Backup Jobs
  • Windows Patch management, Vulnerability management
  • Network Routers, Switches, Security Appliances, and Wireless Access Points
  • Vulnerability Management, SIEM.
  • VMWare ESXi and VM environment
  • Windows/Apple/Linux Servers and Desktops
  • Windows Active Directory Services
  • AWS and VDI enivronment
  • Office 365 user administration
  • Data integrity and backup
  • IDS/IPS and Content filtering systems
  • Notification, Escalation, and Management of Information Security Incidents/Events
  • User management of the Office 365 environment including Office, Exchange, SharePoint.
  • Ensure all IT and Information Security controls are adhered to. Assist other members of the IT Staff and Executive Management team with all Information Security reporting and audit initiatives
