Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric Architect with extensive experience in data integration and data management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in successful implementations with client applications within the Microsoft technology stack, leveraging Azure services to deliver scalable and efficient data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement robust data integration solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric, ensuring seamless connectivity with client applications.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements, translating them into technical specifications for Azure-based solutions.

  • Architect data management frameworks that support data ingestion, transformation, and storage, employing Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

  • Implement data governance practices and ensure compliance with security standards and best practices within the Azure environment.

  • Optimize ETL processes to enhance performance and reliability, utilizing tools such as Azure Data Factory and custom Azure Functions.

  • Lead the development of architecture documentation, including data flow diagrams, technical specifications, and integration patterns.

  • Mentor cross-functional teams on Azure best practices, data modeling strategies, and efficient use of the Microsoft technology stack.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our data solutions and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, specifically in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric, with a focus on client application implementations.

  • Strong expertise in data integration, ETL processes, and data management, with hands-on experience in Azure data services.

  • Proficiency in designing and deploying solutions that utilize Azure services, including but not limited to Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Cosmos DB.

  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, data warehousing techniques, and big data processing frameworks.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data-related issues in a cloud environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure and related technologies (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert).

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.

  • Experience implementing security features such as Azure Active Directory, role-based access control, and encryption within Azure resources.
