Job Description:-

We are looking for Maintenance Supervisor - Machine Shop for our client place based at Gurgaon, Haryana. The ideal will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of all equipment and machinery within the facility. This includes performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, and collaborating with other teams to optimise machine performance and minimise downtime

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment including CNC machines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and utility systems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical faults to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems in optimal working condition.
  • Oversee the upkeep of rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, and gearboxes.
  • Maintain records of maintenance work performed using SAP and prepare basic reports.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with other departments for smooth plant operations.
  • Assist in installation, commissioning, and modification of mechanical systems and machinery.

Technical / Functional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and machine tools
  • Experience in maintenance of CNC machines, utility equipment, and material handling systems
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and lubrication systems
  • Understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques
  • Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and schematics
  • Skilled in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • Familiarity with rotating equipment (pumps, motors, compressors, gearboxes)
  • Sound knowledge of safety practices in mechanical maintenance
