Piping Supervisor

Piping Supervisor (Construction) should have followed specific job experience
Job Description

1. Supervision & Coordination

Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of piping systems.

Coordinate activities among pipefitters, welders, and other trades.

Ensure work is performed according to blueprints, specifications, and safety standards.

2. Planning & Scheduling

Develop work schedules and assign tasks.

Estimate labor, materials, and time requirements.

Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet deadlines and budgets.

3. Quality & Safety Compliance

Conduct site inspections to verify work quality and safety.

Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures.

Resolve issues like delays, equipment breakdowns, or non-compliance.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of work progress, inspections, and materials.

Prepare reports for senior management.

Ensure proper documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.

5. Technical Oversight

Interpret technical drawings and isometric plans.

Approve construction activities and inspect materials.

Liaise with engineers and other supervisors to align piping work with project goals.

6. Team Leadership

Train and guide workers and subcontractors.

Promote a culture of safety and quality.

Evaluate team performance and provide feedback.

Educational Background:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent 

Experience:

Minimum of 5-10 years of field experience

Skills:

Strong technical knowledge of Piping, DTRA/TBT 

Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide detailed technical support
