We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, leading month-end close processes, preparing financial statements, and supporting audits and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and journal entries.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets accounting.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Support external audits and coordinate with auditors as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with tax filings, regulatory reporting, and internal controls.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
  • Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Semi-qualified CPA or CMA with studies discontinued or not currently pursuing certification.
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a mid-to-large-sized organization.
  • Strong knowledge of and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP9, Tally Prime etc.,) and Microsoft Excel.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹40,000.00 per month
