Design projects and/or review architectural or engineering plans, specifications and contract documents to ensure compliance with government codes, laws and regulations. Good knowledge of BMC norms for all types of projects, i.e. residential & commercial Understand Site Constraints & advise subcontractors on the interpretation of plans, recommend changes when necessary. Prepare and/or review preliminary designs, working drawings, specifications and cost estimates related to the project.

Analyze building / properties codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs. Prepare / analyze information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs and/ or construction time and provide inputs to agencies regarding the same. Draw rough and detailed scale plans for properties based in preliminary concepts, sketched, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data.

To review project plans, architectural drawings as and when required To plan the architectural activities of the project from inception until end so that it meets all the specifications of design and quality. Provide advice and develop design documents to initiate and modify architectural, interior design and space planning solutions.

Gather facts, define designs and space planning problems, conceptualize possible solutions and secure approvals of proposals. End-to-end coordination between the Project Manager and consultants. Perform design drafting including preliminary drawings, working drawings and full detail drawings for architectural, structural and mechanical works associated with building construction or improvement projects.

Provide finish selections including colour palettes, carpet and wall finishes, lighting and other various interior selections. Develop details, sections and guide team to progress work and follow up closely Prepare / coordinate schedules, specifications and design reports
