Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Engineer to support our daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth coordination between departments, maintaining production schedules, tracking inventory, and assisting with logistics and administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Operations Support:

• Assist the Operations/Production Manager in monitoring daily manufacturing activities.

• Track work orders, production schedules, and ensure timely completion of tasks.

• Coordinate with procurement, quality control, and warehouse teams to streamline operations.

• Support in monitoring machine usage, downtime, and production efficiency.

Inventory & Supply Chain:

• Assist in inventory management: tracking raw materials, finished goods, and reorder levels.

• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery of materials.

• Help manage stock discrepancies and prepare inventory reports.

Administrative Duties:

• Maintain records of production data, attendance, and shift reports.

• Assist with documentation related to compliance, quality audits, and certifications.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required by management.

• Help in organizing and scheduling meetings, training sessions, or audits.

Logistics & Coordination:

• Coordinate with logistics teams for inbound and outbound shipments.

• Support dispatch planning and tracking of deliveries.

• Liaise between departments to ensure timely flow of information and resources.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify inefficiencies and suggest process improvements.

• Support the implementation of lean manufacturing or 5S practices, if applicable.

• Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on operational challenges.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field certifications.

• 1–3 years of experience in an operations or administrative role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial setup.

• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ERP systems experience is a plus.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Familiarity with ISO standards, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies.

• Experience with ERP system

• Basic understanding of health & safety and compliance regulations in manufacturing.

Work Environment:

• Office-based with regular visits to the production floor.

• May require occasional overtime or weekend shifts depending on production schedules.
