About the Role

We are seeking a skilled
Support Engineer
specializing in
VMware
to join our IT Operations team. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on support for virtualization infrastructure, ensuring system performance, reliability, and scalability within a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, monitor, and maintain
    VMware-based virtual environments
    .
  • Perform
    installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
    of VMware ESXi hosts, vCenter, and related components.
  • Handle day-to-day
    incident resolution
    , performance tuning, and capacity management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to implement new solutions and system upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and backup standards.
  • Provide technical documentation and regular infrastructure health reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT Operations with strong exposure to
    VMware technologies
    (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, Windows/Linux servers, and system backup tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a
    client-facing, onsite
    environment.
