**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented **Import-Export Executive** with primary responsibility for managing **import operations**. The role involves coordinating with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure smooth, timely, and cost-effective import of goods such as **furniture, têxtiles, and industrial water filter parts**.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Import Operations (Major Role)**:

- Manage complete **import documentation** — Purchase Orders, Proforma Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, etc.
- Coordinate with **foreign suppliers, shipping lines, and CHA agents** for timely dispatch and clearance.
- Handle **LC (Letter of Credit), advance payment**, and related bank documentation.
- Monitor **shipment tracking**, delivery timelines, and logistics costs.
- Liaise with **customs brokers and freight forwarders** to ensure compliance with import regulations.
- Verify product classification (HS Code), duty structure, and handle post-clearance documentation.
- Maintain records of import transactions, licenses, and compliance documents.
- Negotiate freight rates and ensure **cost optimization** in transportation and clearance.

**Export Operations (Minor Role)**:

- Prepare export documents like invoice, packing list, and shipping instructions as needed.
- Coordinate with international clients and shipping agents for small-volume export shipments.

**Reporting & Coordination**:

- Generate periodic MIS reports on import status, shipment delays, and cost analysis.
- Work closely with the accounts and procurement teams for payment and reconciliation.
- Maintain excellent communication with suppliers and logistics partners.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of **import procedures, incoterms, and customs documentation**.
- Hands-on experience with **CHA coordination, DGFT norms, and port operations**.
- Proficiency in **MS Excel** and report generation.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
