**Job Title**: - Retail Planner

**Experience**- 4-6 years

**Location** - Chennai

**Key Result Area**:
**1. Data Analysis and Interpretation**:

- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to identify patterns and insights.
- Utilize statistical methods and forecasting techniques to develop accurate demand forecasts for products and categories.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to stakeholders, highlighting trends, opportunities, and risks.

**2. Inventory Management**:

- Work closely with inventory management teams to optimize stock levels, minimize out-of-stocks, and reduce excess inventory.
- Develop inventory replenishment strategies based on demand forecasts, seasonal trends, and promotional activities.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommend actions to mitigate risks and improve inventory turnover.

**3. Assortment Planning**:

- Collaborate with merchandising teams to develop assortment plans that align with customer preferences, market trends, and business goals.
- Analyze product performance data to make recommendations for assortment optimization,including assortment breadth and depth.

**4. Promotion and Pricing Analysis**:

- Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions and pricing strategies through data analysis and post
- promotion reviews.
- Make data-driven recommendations for future promotional activities, including timing, duration,and discount levels.

**5. Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, and finance, to ensure alignment between data insights and business strategies.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

**Education, Skills & Experience Required**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Master degree preferred.
- Proven experience in retail planning, demand forecasting, or data analysis within the retail industry preferably luxury fashion and beauty.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and techniques, such as Advanced Excel, SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
