Job Title: Safety Officer

Location**:Sipajhar, Assam**

Experience: 7-8 years in the Manufacturing Sector

**Responsibilities**:
1. Industrial Safety Management:

- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with local, state regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with department heads to integrate safety practices into daily operations.

2. Conducting Safety Training:

- Plan, coordinate, and conduct safety training programs for employees at various levels.
- Develop training materials and ensure that all employees are aware of safety protocols and procedures.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of safety training programs and make improvements as needed.

3. Emergency Planning:

- Develop and maintain emergency response plans for various scenarios, including fire, chemical spills, and natural disasters.
- Conduct regular emergency drills to ensure preparedness and evaluate the effectiveness of emergency response procedures.
- Collaborate with local emergency services to enhance coordination during critical situations.

4. Maintaining Safety Documentation:

- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of safety procedures, incident reports, and training records.
- Prepare reports on safety performance, incidents, and near misses for management review.
- Maintain compliance with all record-keeping requirements.

5. Industrial Hygiene:

- Implement and oversee industrial hygiene programs to monitor and control occupational health hazards.
- Conduct air quality assessments, noise level monitoring, and other industrial hygiene activities.
- Recommend and implement measures to improve workplace hygiene and reduce occupational health risks.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

2. 7-8 years of relevant experience in industrial safety management within the manufacturing sector.

3. Strong knowledge of local, state regulations.

4. Proven experience in conducting safety training and developing training materials.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
