Network and Security Administrator

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Network Management**: Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and cloud environments, to ensure reliable performance.
- **Active Directory Administration**: Oversee Active Directory configurations, user access, and authentication protocols to maintain security.
- **Intune and Device Management**: Manage Intune for mobile device management, implementing policies to secure company devices.
- **Asset Management**: Maintain an accurate inventory of all technical assets, ensuring tracking, documentation, and security compliance.
- **Security Monitoring**: Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity, implementing security measures to prevent unauthorised access.
- **Firewall and VPN Administration**: Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and other security appliances to secure data access.
- **Incident Response**: Lead response efforts for network security incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective measures.
- **Policy Development**: Develop and enforce network security policies and compliance measures.
- **Cybersecurity Training**: Educate employees on cybersecurity best practices to reduce insider threats.
- **Documentation**: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, security protocols, and incident responses.
- **Team Collaboration**: Coordinate with the part-time direct report in Australia, ensuring seamless security management and operational support across time zones.

**Qualifications**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in network and cybersecurity roles, including Active Directory, Intune, and technical asset management.
- **Technical Skills**:
- Expertise in network and firewall configurations (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet).
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Intune, and asset management.
- Experience with VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS).
- Knowledge of cloud environments and associated security protocols.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong English communication skills for interacting with global teams and stakeholders.
- **Certifications**: Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP, are a plus.
