About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented
Network Administrator
to manage, secure, and optimize our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in network design, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring, with hands-on experience across LAN, WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud/hybrid environments.

As a key member of the IT team, you will collaborate with system administrators, security teams, and business stakeholders to ensure high availability, security, and scalability of enterprise networks supporting critical applications across domains such as defence, aerospace, energy, and industrial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer enterprise-level
    LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN
    infrastructure.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot
    routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
    .
  • Ensure
    network security
    through firewalls, IDS/IPS, access controls, and patch management.
  • Implement and monitor
    network performance tools
    to maintain uptime and optimize throughput.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to meet
    cybersecurity and regulatory standards
    .
  • Manage
    IP address allocations, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, etc.)
    .
  • Support and administer
    cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
    and hybrid infrastructures.
  • Respond to
    network incidents, outages, and escalations
    , providing root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
  • Maintain detailed
    documentation
    of configurations, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT and business teams to support projects and new deployments.
  • Provide
    mentorship and technical guidance
    to junior team members.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
    .
  • 5–10 years of professional experience
    in enterprise network administration.
  • Hands-on expertise with
    Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or equivalent networking platforms
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    routing, switching, VLANs, QoS, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networks
    .
  • Proficiency in
    network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, etc.)
    .
  • Experience with
    cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network, etc.)
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security best practices
    .
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in
    incident management and root cause analysis
    .

Preferred Qualifications

  • CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications
    (e.g., JNCIA, Fortinet NSE, CompTIA Network+/Security+).
  • Experience with
    SD-WAN, VoIP, and unified communications
    .
  • Familiarity with
    SIEM tools and SOC environments
    .
  • Knowledge of
    automation/scripting (Python, PowerShell, Ansible)
    for network administration.
  • Prior experience in
    defence, aerospace, or critical infrastructure sectors
    .
