Job Brief:

vSplash Techlabs is seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. As a System & Network Administrator, you will be responsible for various tasks related to Active Directory, Sophos, asset management, and firewall configuration. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 4 years of experience in the field and possess strong technical knowledge in these areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Active Directory Management: Maintain and administer Active Directory infrastructure, including user and group management, security permissions, and troubleshooting issues related to directory services.
  • Sophos Endpoint Security: Configure, deploy, and manage Sophos endpoint security solutions to protect the organization's systems and data from potential threats and malware.
  • Asset Management: Oversee the tracking, monitoring, and maintenance of IT assets, including hardware and software inventory. Develop and implement asset management procedures and best practices.
  • Firewall Configuration: Assist in configuring and managing firewalls to ensure network security. Collaborate with network administrators to identify and resolve firewall-related issues and optimize network performance.
  • User Support: Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving hardware and software problems and answering technical queries. Respond to IT support tickets and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Documentation and SOPs: Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation for IT processes and configurations. Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation is maintained for reference and knowledge sharing.

Requirement:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in IT support or a related role, preferably in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration, including user and group management, security permissions, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Sophos endpoint security solutions, including deployment and management.
  • Experience with asset management practices, including inventory tracking and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in firewall configuration and understanding of network security principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and end-users.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and SOPs.
