
Logistics Trainer

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Logistics & Supply Chain Management Trainer to join our team. As a trainer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs that equip employees with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in logistics, supply chain operations, and related functions. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and performance of our workforce, ensuring they are well-versed in industry best practices and technologies.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources, tailored to various learning styles.
- Conduct both in-person and virtual training sessions to employees at different levels of the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in logistics and supply chain management and incorporate them into training programs.
- Assess employee understanding of the training content through evaluations and practical exercises.
- Work closely with managers and HR to identify training needs and ensure training aligns with organizational goals.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to employees to enhance their knowledge and skills.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making improvements as necessary.
- Organize and lead workshops, seminars, and other development initiatives.
- Collaborate with other trainers or departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to employee development.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management, including knowledge of inventory management, transportation, procurement, and distribution.
- Strong experience in designing and delivering training programs in a professional setting.
- Familiarity with modern supply chain technologies, including ERP systems, warehouse management software, and logistics optimization tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to adapt training content based on employee feedback and organizational needs.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, understandable manner.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP).
- Experience with e-learning platforms and online training tools.
- Previous experience in training for industries such as manufacturing, retail, or distribution.
- Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
